♥ My Top 10 Favourite Naruto Characters Dattebayo! XD
Hey wassup everyone!! Ruby here. As i promised,today's special post is on Naruto!! Quick note and reminder,this list is solely based on my personal opinion. If by any chance i do not mention ur favourite character,pls do not hate on me or anything as it was NOT on purpose >.< If i do mention ur favourite character,then good for you, we like the same character. Of course,you are free to post a comment on ur most favourite character(s) as well =) Also,in the 10th and 3rd position there was a tie as i couldn't decide between the 2 characters thus there are techinically 12 characters that are my favourite.... Um,soooo without further ado,let's get on with it!!!
10) Tenten(no pun inTENed XD)
She is very adept at using ninja weapons and i personally feel that she is the cutest of all the female protagonaists in the show :3 Furthermore,she makes awesome punch-lines in Naruto SD and without her,that would definitely not be a good show. She also admires Tsunade alot even though she is not her disciple. Tenten has a chinese-based design with those 2 signature head buns and she can also be as enthusiastic as Rock Lee(well more like trying to calm him and Gai down -.-").
10) Haruno Sakura
She has really matured since the anime started and has become a powerful(literally) ninja ever since becoming Tsunade's pupil. Sakura no longer needs Naruto to protect her and has vowed to help in getting Sasuke back. She is even brave enough confront Sasuke and try to kill him! She still has feelings for him though but of course i'm really hoping that she and Naruto will together.(sorry to all hinataxnaruto fans T^T) From the once naive and gullible gal,Sakura has become an expert medical ninja,possessing superhuman strength. It is also shown in the former series that she feels a sense of responsibility towards her friends by visiting Sasuke and Rock Lee daily at the hospital after the Chunnin Exams.
9) Hatake Kakashi
I know what most of you are thinking out there... Seriously,how does his actual face looks like??!! One of the many Naruto mysteries that one will never find out is Kakashi's ture face under that mask. Anyways,Kakashi used to be just like Sasuke when he was young,being antisocial and cold towards his comrades. However,he came to realise the importance of friendship from his father,Konoha's White Fang and his thought-to-be deceased teammate,Obito Uchiha. That's how he got his nickname,the Copy Ninja,as his left eye was Obito's sharingan. He is the great and respected mentor of Team 7 as well as Maito Gai's "eternal rival'.(it's always hilarious to see them competing) I'm really happy that he is going to play an important in the final battle against Madara =)
8) Gaara
When i first saw Gaara,i didn't like him. I mean seriously,he was like a psychotic psycho >.< His murderous intent and merciless way of killing his opponents amde me fear him. He could even detach his eye to survey his surroundings.(reminds me of Ulquiorra from bleach =O ) But he was one character that i came to like and respect after watching his pitiful plight. Sharing the same fate as Naruto with the Ichibi(1-tail) trapped inside him,Gaara used to have a negative outlook in life. However,he was able to man-up and change for the better after seeing Naruto's optimism. I was really shocked that he manged to become the new Kazekage in just 3 years time! Gaara also makes an appearance in Naruto SD and he is so freaking cute!!(especially when Lee made him cross-dress) Furthermore,he was able to patch things up with Lee as he had previously caused some severe injuries on him.
He used to believe in one's fate. Being part of the side-branch in the Hyuga family,he felt that he could not change his destiny until Naruto changed his point of view completely in the Chunnin exam. I found him to be the typical kind of rival with a quiet and aloof personality. Lee considers Neiji to be his "eternal rival" and although he was reluctant at first,Neiji eventually sees Lee as an equal. Also because of the Chunnin incident,Neiji has admired Naruto's determination and even sacrificed his life for him.(sob,Neiji died T^T, R.I.P Neiji..) In contrast to all the seriousness,Neiji is practically a joke in Naruto SD. he is always the one who cross-dresses(cuz Lee forced him XD) and he is extremely protective over Hinata when it came to Naruto. Overall,i have come to appreciate Neiji alot and i find it a shame that such a good character has met his end.
6) Tsunade
The 5th and first female Hokage as well as one of the Legendary Sannin,Tsunade is an idol for any female shinobi. Having lost her brother and lover during the Great Shinobi War,Tsunade ahs a phobia for blood which is an disadvantage to her,considering that she is a medical ninja. However,she protected Naruto from Orochimaru and desperately tried to save him after he was injured badly. Although she was reluctant to become Hokage at first,she got used to it and would protect it to the very end.( when Pein destroyed konoha) She is also wise and agreed to work alongside the other kages against Madara.
5) Minato Namikaze
Naruto's father and the 4th Hokage who died alongside his wife,Kushina Uzumaki,protecting Naruto who had the Kyubi sealed inside him. That's a really noble father you have Naruto XD Looks wise,well,i can see why Minato would have a bigger fan club than his son :p He believed that Naruto would someday be able to control the Kyubi,now that's fatherly love right there T^T When he was still alive,Minato was named the Yellow Flash due him being able to move at lightning speed. He was able to fight on par with the 4th Raikage and is undoubtedly one of the most powerful shinobi in history. Kakashi and Obito was coached by him too!! The one thing that i'm anticipating is a father and son showdown as Minato was revived using the Reanimation Jutsu >.<
4) Naruto Uzumaki
Ahhh,the main protagonist... Well i have always wondered,why did Naruto take his mom's surname? Shouldn't he have been called Naruto Namikaze instead?? Naruto changed from being a total sucker to a badass ever since Naruto Shipsuden started. He is known to ahve motivated amny with his heartfelt words and has never since given up hope on Sasuke,which has been the key driving force and motivation to improving. Naruto really values the bonds that he shares with his comrades as they were the ones who first recognised him as a fellow shinobi and not a monster like most others. Like Gaara,Naruto grew up alone without knowing the true identity of his parents. His first bond with Sasuke must have meant alot to him which is why he is desperate to get him back. Even though he may be childish and pervertic sometimes,he is one of the best main pritagonists ever!!
3) Deidara~ <3
The first Akatsuki that i liked... He's such a smexy badboy!! :3 Deidara is an artist and despite having different opinions as to what art is,he is able work well with his first partner, Sasori, and calls him"my man"(not in the wrong way dammit,grow up already -.-*) as the latter is more experienced and powerful than him. Sadly however,his intense hatred towards the Uchiha Clan is what led to his downfall when he recklessly confronted Sasuke. Being true to his art til the end, Deidara is literally a "suicide bomber" as he blew himself up using his most powerful jutsu,C-4. He does not fail to make an appearance in Naruto SD with his new partner Tobi(no,you are NOT a good boy :< ) and leaves me in stiches with his hilarious antics. Lastly,to all Deidara fan girls/boys, good job man,you have absolutely great taste and i applaud you cuz i myself am a huge Dei fan girl XD
3) Sasuke Uchiha
How does he attract so many girls?!! Seriously,Sasuke is every girl's dream boyfriend and every boy's rival.With such amazing skill,he is not as good as Itachi(well almost),except for the fact that he managed to kill his brother. I can't blame him for his actions of deserting Konoha and joining Orochimaru. But that just goes to show how easily influenced he was. if he was like Naruto,instead of turning to bad guys for problems,he should have just trained hard on his own.( yo dawg,be like Rock Lee) Anyways,he did have reasons,besides,i don't think that there was anyone strong enough to train Sasuke at that time which was why he left. I have mixed reactions towards this guy though. I mean,he caused so many people to die( my poor poor Deidara...). But Kishimoto did a good a job making him look even smexier in Shippuden with the low-cut clothes. I bet everyoneis also hoping that one day Sasuke will return to konoha and reconcile with Naruto. Btw for all you Sasuke fan girls,the second pic i posted is not fan-art, Sasuke does indeed where that in the latest movie so at least you have sth to look forward to :p
2) Rock Lee
As if making him the funniest looking character wasn't enough. Rock Lee is like the ultimate comedian in the Naruto Universe with his "thick bushy brows" and green tight suit. He is a unique ninja who can't perform ninjutsu or genjutsu but is very skilled in taijutsu. I once thought of Lee as just a goofy character but seeing him battle changed my opinion on him. He is not afraid to admit to his shortcomings and believes that hard work will overcome the smartest people. He is even more optimistic than Naruto and is just ridiculously insane when with his mentor Gai. Naruto SD was created with Lee as the main character and it has shown the many hidden sides of Naruto characters that you would not normally see in the anime. Yea true story,Orochimaru is made into a joke and i can never take him seriously again XD For those who have never watched Naruto SD before,you had better start now cuz you will laughing ur pants off!! Lee also has a one-sided love for Sakura even though she is totally grossed out by him >.< Lee is one of the most persevering characters of all. Despite being injured by Gaara and almost being unable to become a shinobi,he continued believing and was eventually healed. Also i feel that Lee's relationship with Gai is one of the most touching teacher-student relationships =)
1) Itachi Uchiha
Yayyy!! Finally we are almost done.. Itachi is no doubt my favourite character.Well not so much as looks wise although he is quite ok but more of his character as a whole. He is the infamous traitor of konoha who assasinated his entire family except Sasuke due to the fact that he could not bear to do so.(yea sasuke,in ur face :p ) I consider him to be the most noble shinobi of all. He made everyone think that he was evil and died without anyone knowing the truth. It's freaking sad ok?! =( And who killed him? Well of course the person who he spared,Sasuke. Haiz,Itachi died in vain T^T It must have been painful for him to kill his clan but he did it anyways because he wanted to keep konoha safe. Well,Sasuke sure realised it late enough -.- But the two brothers patch up and fight alongside each other against Kabuto. Itachi also openly admitted that his way of thinking in the past was wrong and he wanted Naruto to carry on his wishes and bring Sasuke home. So even though Itachi appears only a few times on the anime,he still leaves a lasting impression on me and his actions are evidence that even the most hardcore villains have a soft side~
So that wraps up my special 100th post. It took me a long time to complete,so YOU BETTER APPRECIATE IT!! Haha just kidding(sorry for the caps),but still i really hope that you enjoyed it and stay tuned for more Naruto posts in the future!!~ ^.^
