♥ Shoujo Manga-Fruits Basket
Hey wassup everyone!! Today's post is one of my favourite and very first animes that i watched. Yep introducing Fruits Basket!!!! Now,this has nothing to do with fruits so fruit-haters do not need to worry. It revolves round these 12 people who have been afflicted with a curse that turns them into one of the 12 Chinese Zodiacs when a person of the opposite gender hugs them. The 12 Chinese Zodiacs is part of chinese mythology,similar to our horoscope except that the zodiacs represent 12 animals mainly the rat,ox,tiger,rabbit,dragon,snake,horse,sheep,monkey,rooster,dog,pig and also another additional animal the cat. Now for those who are not familiar with the story of the zodiacs there is an explanation in the anime so you guys can understand better cuz it will take too long for me to explain here. Anyways this anime has a fantastic story plot and is filled with many tear-jerking moments.(believe me i cried alot while watching it T^T) It emphasises alot on kinship and also has a fair share of romance <3 So yea i really hope that you guys will take some time to watch this anime. Regretfully,the anime has only 26 episodes and the rest of the story is manga. Don't worry though as i will be putting links below to give easy access to those interested =) Now most importantly,my favourite character of this series if you haven't guessed by the pictures is Momiji~ He is the rabbit and he is just cuteness overload(like rabbits generally are..kyaaa~) XD Anyways this anime has always brought back fond memories of my secondary school life and i'm really hoping that you guys will enjoy it too >.< If you have watched this anime or have shown interest in it i really hope that you can leave a comment stating which is ur favourite character and why. Of course i have supplied a pic with all the characters so you can refer to that if ur still unsure of their names. Lastly,i will be resuming school in about week and after that i may have very little time to post thus i apologise beforehand.
